MK Dons make the near 400-mile round trip to Lancashire for their midweek fixture against Blackpool.
The Dons will be looking to build on Saturday’s 2-1 victory over Luton Town, which saw Paul Warne’s side secure their first win of the season. A thunderous strike from Alex Gilbey gave the hosts the lead after 25 minutes, before Jordan Clark levelled the score with just 20 minutes remaining. However, Aaron Collins proved to be the match-winner, winning a penalty in the 79th minute before stepping up to convert from the spot and secure all three points.
The Seasiders sit just one point behind the Dons in 20th place and are winless in six. Tuesday's hosts were beaten 2-0 by Leyton Orient at Brisbane Road in the capital on Saturday afternoon. Goals from Will Forrester and Dane Scarlett either side of the break were enough to give the hosts a comfortable win.
While there have been no injury updates since before the Luton game, the involvement of Curtis Nelson and Rushian Hepburn Murphy remains undisclosed. Callum Paterson and Ryan Barnett will be unavailable for selection, with Paterson only just returning to training and Barnett sidelined for several weeks.
Blackpool will be without Josh Earl, Niall Ennis, Fraser Horfall and Michael Ihiekwe. The Seasiders did not have any fresh injury concerns from their defeat in London on Saturday.
Aaron Collins will be expected to lead the line on the Fylde coast after the Welsh striker scored his 10th goal of the season to secure the points against local rivals Luton. Ibrahim Fullah made his first league start on the weekend and continued to impress following successful outings in the EFL Trophy and could be in contention to keep his spot.
Blackpool will be hoping Jerry Yates can get up and running after returning to the Seasiders. The 29-year-old striker has only managed to score twice so far this campaign and will be hoping he can replicate his past form at the club, which saw him score 46 times in three seasons for the club.
The referee for Tuesday night's encounter is Jamie Robinson from Northern Ireland. The referee has so far handed out two red cards and 22 yellow cards in just five outings this season.
The two sides have met 11 times previously, with Blackpool holding the advantage in the head-to-head record. The Seasiders have won six of those encounters, compared to four victories for the Dons, while just one meeting has ended in a draw.
Tickets can no longer be purchased online for the fixture and can only be bought at the gate at Bloomfield Road.
Kick-off is at 7.45pm.
