Where is it? With the MK Council's Smart Cycling Sensors

Cycling and Milton Keynes go hand in hand. We’ve got over 200 miles of cycle routes, one of the best Redway networks in the UK, and now MK Council wants to understand how people use them even better… with a little help from you. Cyclists across Milton Keynes are being encouraged to fit a free Smart Cycling Sensors to their bike. These clever little gadgets anonymously track journeys around the city, helping spot things like rough surfaces, potholes, tricky junctions and places where cyclists might not feel as safe as they should. They even act as a light for your bike, very handy.

All that information helps MK Council improve the routes you use every day — from repairs and maintenance to lighting and safety improvements — while helping keep Milton Keynes moving towards a greener future too. If you’ve got a bike, you can grab a free sensor right now through the MK Smart Cycling Trial, and while you’re at it, you could even win a £50 shopping voucher. Just sign up and start riding.
