Print Service Engineer
About the Role
As a Print Service Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance, and repair of a wide range of multifunctional print devices across customer sites. You will play a vital role in delivering a high‑quality service experience, ensuring device uptime, and supporting customers with technical issues in a professional and proactive manner.
Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose hardware and network‑related faults quickly and efficiently.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers both onsite and remotely.
- Carry out preventative maintenance to ensure optimal device performance.
- Maintain accurate service logs, parts usage, and documentation.
- Build strong customer relationships through excellent communication and follow‑up.
- Adhere to company SLAs, quality standards, and health & safety procedures.
Essential Experience & Skills
- Proven field engineering experience within the managed print or office technology sector.
- Hands‑on experience working with Canon, Ricoh, Develop, and Epson MFPs/print devices.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, both mechanical and network‑related.
- Good understanding of print drivers, connectivity, and basic network principles.
- Excellent customer‑service mindset with strong communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
- Experience with remote monitoring tools (e.g., Papercut, UniFlow, or similar).
- Manufacturer certifications (Canon, Ricoh, Konica Minolta/Develop, Epson).
- Basic IT support experience or understanding of Windows/Mac OS environments
