Sales Director / Business Development Director
Location: Knowlhill, Milton Keynes
Full-time Permanent - Monday – Friday 8.00am – 5.00pm (core office hours)
Salary – Up to £60,000 (Dependent on experience)
Facilities Management Solutions are part of the well-established PGS Group based in Milton Keynes that has been supporting local businesses since 2010. We work with clients across all sectors, from education and healthcare to warehousing and commercial properties, in and around MK and the surrounding areas.
We save organisations precious time and money by sourcing and then project managing the most appropriate building management solution for their site’s requirements. Having one point of contact takes our clients facility management headaches away where we manage projects from quotation right through to completion.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to join us at an exciting time of growth where they can make this brand-new role their own. We have recently moved to a new office in Knowlhill at the heart of Milton Keynes.
The successful candidate will be an important contributor to our team’s continued success. This new position will facilitate further growth and help ensure that we continue to deliver the quality of service our clients expect, whilst sticking to our core values.
This role puts the successful candidate in the sales driving seat helping to deliver our ambitious targets. Joining a close-knit team of nine people including four Project Managers.
No day is the same at FMS, this role is all about leading our Project Managers and ensuring the team achieve the organisations monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and mindset:
· Experience in a similar Sales Manager / Business Development Director role
· Demonstrable experience of managing a successful business development / sales team
· Proven results within a similar role
· An analytical approach to looking at sales figures and conversions
· The successful candidate will ideally have experience within Facilities Management, Building Management, Construction or a similar industry
· A strong communicator at all levels, including the Project Management & Marketing team, Directors and clients
· Proven leadership and motivational ability
· Confident, enjoys networking, meeting new people and building business relationships
· A self-starter who can manage a team and consistently deliver results whilst bringing new ideas and opportunities to market
· Liaising with the Marketing team ensuring that the Project Managers have everything they need to achieve results
· Good IT skills and the confidence to work with a new CRM system
· Experience in managing and delivering projects ensuring that these are delivered successfully
· Organised, with the ability to multi-task, managing sales at the same time as delivering their own projects simultaneously
· Attention to detail, never settling for second best
· Full driving licence with own transport and willing to travel around Milton Keynes and surrounding areas
· Working with the Operations Director & Managing Director to drive the company forward at this exciting time of growth
