Rob could not wait to go to Silverstone BRDC Classic here is his full review...
I had an amazing time at the Silverstone BRDC Classic. From the moment I arrived, there was a real buzz around the circuit, and it felt like a celebration of motorsport history. Seeing so many iconic race cars up close was a real highlight, and hearing the roar of the engines as they raced around Silverstone was something you simply can’t appreciate until you experience it in person.
One of the things I enjoyed most was the open paddock. Being able to walk among the cars, speak to some of the teams, and watch the mechanics working on these incredible machines made the event feel much more personal than a typical race weekend. The passion and dedication everyone has for preserving these historic cars really shines through.
The racing was fantastic, with plenty of close battles that kept the crowds entertained all day. There was also so much more than just racing, including classic car displays, live entertainment, great food, and plenty of stalls to browse. It made for a brilliant day out, whether you’re a lifelong motorsport fan or just looking for something different.
The organisation was excellent, and despite the large crowds, everything ran smoothly. There were lots of great viewing spots around the circuit, so it was easy to find somewhere to enjoy the action.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Silverstone BRDC Classic. It’s a fantastic event that combines the excitement of live racing with the rich history of motorsport, and I came away already looking forward to my next visit.
