Using crochet to 'bring calm, confidence and connection' in Milton Keynes

There is a new buzz in Bletchley, revolving around the creativity of crochet and craft.

The Hidden Hive Workshop is an independent business offering creative wellbeing experiences designed to help people slow down, connect, and find calm.

Nicky Moore is the brain behind the venture: “It's called The Hidden Hive because it's tucked away out of sight in my garden studio but it's not a secret,” she said. “It’s a space to switch off from the noise of life, meet others, and experience how something as beautiful as crochet and craft can bring calm, confidence, and connection.”

Small group sessions are being offered, with personal guidance and plenty of time for questions and demos. The adult only workshop will teach you how crochet and craft can soothe the mind and lift the spirit.

Beginner crochet opportunities run all year-round, with graduates moving on to The Crochet Colony, where intermediates tackle more challenging projects like scarves, tops, and can join exclusive crochet-alongs.

Colony members also enjoy monthly meet-ups, and trips to exhibitions.
