Far-right activist walks free early from HMP Woodhill.
The political activist Tommy Robinson has been released nine weeks early from an 18-month jail term for contempt of court.
The 42 year old, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, had originally been due for release from Milton Keynes’ category B men's high security prison on 26th July.
He was jailed last October for breaching a 2021 High Court order that banned him from repeating false allegations against a Syrian refugee who had sued him for libel.
It’s reported that Robinson has made assurances that he will not breach the court ruling again which has led to the reduction in sentence length by High Court judge Mr Justice Johnson.
