Partial closure order issued on Milton Keynes property

Anyone found inside the Oldbrook address in the coming months will be arrested.

Earlier today, officers from South NHTP secured a partial Closure Order for an address on Johnston Place following complaints from residents, which was supported by Milton Keynes City Council.

This closure order was granted by Milton Keynes Magistrates Court after reports of Anti-social Behaviour and drug use.

'This behaviour has been having a lasting effect on the quality of life of those within the local area,' said a police spokesperson, 'Under the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014, a Closure Order gives us the legal power to restrict access to the property for a period of 3 months to prevent on-going issues.

'These Orders now make it a criminal offence for anyone apart from professionals listed on the order, to be inside the address for the next 3 months.

'If you are found inside the address during this time, you will be arrested,' the spokesperson added.

'This is part of our commitment to tackling Anti-social Behaviour and to protect our communities.'

If you witness any breaches of this order please report to us via 101 or online at Report a crime | Thames Valley Police.
