Motorcycle recovered in Milton Keynes

Stolen bike being ridden dangerously on pathway.

A motorcycle, which was seen being ridden illegally along one of Milton Keynes’ Redways, has been recovered by community support police.

Two PCSOs saw the bike and rider illegally using the Redway and driving dangerously in Fullers Slade. The vehicle was later found without the rider and displaying the number plate 'WILL RUN.'

Further checks revealed the vehicle was stolen in March. Its owner is now aware of the find and will be reunited with his bike.

“This is a reminder to other road users that the use of motorbikes, scrambler bikes or any mechanically propelled vehicle must be insured for it to be driven on the road or any public highway,” said a Thames Valley Police spokesperson.
