Milton Keynes railway station shooting – latest

Man dreamed of shoot outs, say news reports.

The man shot dead by police outside Milton Keynes railway station last week had made his own gun at home and dreamed of being in shoot outs, according to news reports.

David Joyce had been in prison for possession of firearms, as well as making his own firearm three years ago, when he was fatally shot outside the city’s main station, according to the Daily Record and other news outlets.

Photographs shared on the 31-year-old's Facebook page showed Joyce aiming a firearm and a bow and arrow in woods. Last week police officers received reports he had been outside the station with a gun although it later emerged he was carrying a knife.
