Milton Keynes lawyers in charity drop

Legal team abseils 400 feet for good cause.

Members of a Milton Keynes law firm reached new heights recently after a terrifying abseil for charity.

Seven legal experts from global law firm Dentons’ MK offices, successfully completed the UK’s tallest abseil, to raise £2,371 for Harry’s Rainbow, the office’s charity of the year.

Lawyer Thomas Nolan, trainee Cameron Summers, solicitor apprentice Leah Clifton, paralegals Lucia Pitsillides, Joyce Yiu and Nabilah Loyes and practice support executive Lauren Green abseiled down the 418-foot National Lift Tower in Northampton.

“We faced our fears and completed the 418-foot abseil and it honestly felt scarier than the skydive I did,” said Lauren Green.

“My heart rate was 164bpm at the bottom but I’m so proud I did it. I was joined by six amazing colleagues, and together we took on the challenge in support of our amazing charity of the year who I’ve had the pleasure of working with over the past year.

“Their work supporting bereaved children and their families is truly inspiring.”

Harry’s Rainbow, a principal partner of MKFM, is an award-winning Milton Keynes charity that helps bereaved children in the area.
