Bike’s battery made safe by crew.
A Milton Keynes fire crew was called out after an E-Scooter burst into flames.
The crew from Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service’s Olney station were called to the incident last night, after it was reported the scooter was on fire in Lavendon.
Breathing apparatus was needed as the crew tackled the blaze. They used a thermal imaging camera and a hose during the operation and removed the lithium battery pack to submerge it in water.
Firefighters also gave home fire safety advice to the bike’s owner, said Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service.
