Fire crews from Broughton and Newport Pagnell were called to the fire at a semi-detached property on Saturday night.
The blaze involved a dishwasher.
Crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire and remove the appliance from the property and check for any remaining hot spots.
Slight damage was caused to kitchen units, and crews carried out natural ventilation to clear smoke from the property, in Willen Park.
