Larger voluntary, charitable, and faith-based organisations are being invited to a strategic workshop by Milton Keynes City Council.
The workshop, on October 8, will focus on how bigger organisations (with least one paid employee) can play a greater role in helping the council deliver vital services and address some of the city’s most pressing challenges.
"We already have a strong relationship with our voluntary, charitable and faith organisations,” said Deputy Leader of MKCC, Cllr Lauren Townsend, “This workshop is an opportunity to build on that foundation and explore how we can do even more together to support our residents."
The event is part of the council’s long-term financial planning under its Stability Strategy – Changing Because We Have To, which seeks innovative ways to sustain and improve services through stronger community partnerships.
