Man sentenced for Milton Keynes drug offences

Heroin supply messages found on mobile phone.

A man has been sentenced for drug offences in Milton Keynes.

Dylan Bowen, 30, of Charbray Cresent, Milton Keynes, was sentenced to two years and four months’ imprisonment at Aylesbury Crown Court on Thursday 12th June.

He pleaded guilty at the same hearing to one count each of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A, namely heroin and possessing criminal property.

In March this year, Bowen was approached by officers while he was meeting with another person. He made off on-foot and discarded a mobile phone. Officers detained Bowen and found him in possession of another mobile phone, £200 in cash and seven individual wraps of heroin.

A house search was later conducted and three more individual wraps of heroin were found. Messages linking Bowen to the supply of heroin were found on the mobile phones. Bowen was charged the same day and pleaded guilty the following day.

“Bowen was supplying Class A drugs within Milton Keynes to some of the community’s most vulnerable people,” said investigating officer Steven King, of the Proactive Investigation Team.

“Bowen will now have some time to reflect on his behaviour and how it impacts others. Thames Valley Police will do everything possible to disrupt the supply of drugs and seek justice to those involved.

“The Proactive Team will continue to work hard to stop the supply of drugs in Milton Keynes and, with the public’s help, this can be increased.
