Red Bull Racing driver Isack Hadjar will be returning to the track at this week's Azerbaijan, having been sidelined with a wrist injury since the summer break.
The 21-year-old Frenchman is set to drive the RB22 once again, having last been behind the wheel at the Hungarian Grand Prix back in July.
Suffering a wrist injury in a training session towards the end of the summer break, Red Bull has taken a patient approach to Hadjar's recovery, ensuring he is fully healed instead of rushing him back on track.
The team's statement this morning said: "Oracle Red Bull Racing is delighted to welcome Isack back this weekend."
"Having made a successful recovery from his wrist injury, Isack will return to action at the Baku City Circuit on Thursday."
Hadjar has had a positive debut season with Red Bull, highlighted by a P3 podium finish at the Monaco Grand Prix, after being promoted from sister team Racing Bulls after just one season.
He currently sits eighth in the Drivers' Standings, with 71 points, while Red Bull are currently fourth in the Constructors' Championship.
While sidelined, New Zealander Liam Lawson returned to Red Bull in his stead, racing in three Grands Prix in his absence. Racing at Zandvoort, Monza, and the Madring, Lawson finished P7, P14, and P6 respectively, earning 14 points and taking his season total to 59 - good enough for ninth in the standings.
The team thanked Lawson for stepping in, saying: "The team would like to sincerely thank Liam for his professionalism, dedication and hard work over the past three races."
"Stepping in under challenging circumstances, he delivered some impressive performances and made a valuable contribution to the team. We wish him all the very best as he returns to Visa Cash App Racing Bulls."
