Firefighters were called to a two car collision on Saturday, which saw one car leave the roadway and collide with trees.
Crews from West Ashland and Broughton attended the incident, which happened at the junction with Grafton Street and Summerson Road, at Bleak Hall.
They isolated the battery to the vehicle that had collided with the tree, and removed those trees that had fallen into the redway.
No-one was injured.
