The incident happened inside CMK Shopping Centre, McDonald's, on Wednesday 9th April 2025 at 19:19hrs
On Wednesday 9th April 2025 at 19:19hrs, Police were called to reports of a disturbance inside CMK Shopping Centre by McDonald's, involving weapons. The victim, a 16 year old male, was assaulted by two males, one of whom attempted to stab him with a knife, before fleeing on an e-scooter. The victim suffered no physical injuries.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to the incident who were at the Shopping Centre to come forwards, particularly those that were filming the incident on their mobile phones.
Two juvenile males have been arrested on Monday 14th April 2025 and have been released on bail, whilst further investigative enquiries are carried out.
