80 coronavirus cases and nine hospital deaths announced in Milton Keynes today

There was 80 new coronavirus cases and nine hospital deaths announced in Milton Keynes today, according to the latest data.

The latest update brings the total number of people tested positive in Milton Keynes since the start of the pandemic to 17,460.

The 7-day case rate in Milton Keynes has fallen again today from 416.8 yesterday to 402.3 cases per 100,000 people.

Nationally, an additional 23,275 people tested positive for the virus.

In addition, Milton Keynes Hospital have recorded nine further deaths today. Five happened yesterday, three happened on the Thursday and one occurred on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, a total of 8,378,940 people have now received their first vaccination dose, with 480,432 people having had two doses of the vaccine.
