MKFM Welcomes Tesla to our Business Club

Tesla is driving the UK’s transition to sustainable energy, with Milton Keynes emerging as a leading hub for electric innovation.

Tesla is accelerating the UK’s shift to more sustainable energy, and Milton Keynes is quickly becoming a shining example of how cities can embrace electric and sustainable innovation. As the UK embraces cleaner, smarter ways of living and driving, Tesla continues to lead the charge with affordable vehicles, energy solutions, and investment in local infrastructure.

The latest Tesla Model 3 is a sleek, high-performance vehicle offering up to 436 miles of range on a single charge, and acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in as little as 2.9 seconds. With its refreshed exterior styling and aerodynamic design, the Model 3 offers both speed and efficiency.

Alongside it is the Tesla Model Y, which was crowned the world’s best-selling vehicle of 2023. It pairs top-tier safety, including record Euro NCAP scores, with everyday versatility. With fold-flat seats, dual trunks, and 1,600 kg of towing capacity, it’s ideal for families, road trips, and everything in between.

Tesla also supports sustainable living at home with the Tesla Powerwall — a sleek battery system that stores solar energy or cheaper off-peak electricity for use day or night. It lowers energy bills, reduces grid reliance, and keeps homes powered during outages.

Milton Keynes residents can learn more about the Tesla experience at two local locations: the Tesla Centre on Merton Drive, Redmoor, and a showroom at Midsummer Place Shopping Centre. Both sites offer expert advice, the latest models, and the opportunity to book a test drive.

Councillor Marie Bradburn visited the opening of the Redmoor location last year, commenting, “We're thrilled to welcome Tesla's contribution to the UK's sustainable energy transition. Alongside our local efforts, I'm optimistic about the positive impact electric vehicles will bring to our city.”

Local EV drivers can also access three Tesla Supercharger locations, offering ultra-fast charging up to 250 kW.

With over 250,000 Teslas on UK roads, a growing Supercharger network, and expanding energy technology, Tesla is helping Milton Keynes lead the way in building a cleaner, more connected future.
