RARE Pantomimes is excited to present its 2025 family pantomime, "Jack and the Beanstalk", coming to Stantonbury Theatre this Christmas.

Packed with laugh-out-loud comedy, spectacular songs, dazzling costumes, and all the magic of a traditional family pantomime, this year's show promises to be RARE's biggest and best festive production so far.
RARE has been in existence since 2002, setting up RARE Productions Youth Theatre Company to give children and young adults the opportunity to perform full scale musicals at professional theatres. Their professional pantomime company is a fresher presence in the industry, having been set up in 2016 and has produced ten other pantomimes since its inception, including Aladdin, Sleeping Beauty, and Cinderella.
Audiences are invited to join Jack, Dame Dotty Trott and a cast full of panto magic as they climb a towering beanstalk, face a rather grumpy giant, and discover how courage, kindness and a little mischief can lead to extraordinary adventures.
CAST HIGHLIGHTS
Jacob Birch - Jack
Jacob is a 2024 Musical Theatre graduate from The Hammond in Chester. He has recently returned to the UK after nine months as a lead vocalist for Celebrity Cruises. He is delighted to step into Jack's boots for this classic story.
Thea Peach - Jill
Thea is a 24-year-old musical theatre graduate and passionate children's theatre performer. She has appeared in numerous pantomimes and family shows in theme parks, zoos, festivals and outdoor venues. This is her third year performing in a RARE pantomime.
Jonny Brace - Silly Billy
Jonny graduated from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in 2021. His credits include "Vandals", "NewsRevue", "PlantGays", "Beauty and the Beast", and "Last Sales Conference of the Apocalypse". He is also a writer, director and stand-up comedian, and was a semi-finalist in the 2025 UK Musical Comedy Awards.
Hugo Joss Catton - Fleshcreep
Hugo trained at LAMDA and the Guildford School of Acting. His career includes international tours and West End performances, along with recent work as a lead vocalist for Nicko Cruises. Theatre credits include "Romeo and Juliet" in Dubai, "The Blues Brothers", "The Story of Bart", "Doctor Dolittle", "Elegies", "The Jungle Book", "The Secret Garden", and "Follies". His pantomime credits include "Beauty and the Beast", "Cinderella", "Aladdin", "Sleeping Beauty", "Alice in Wonderland", and "Dick Whittington". He is thrilled to be making his Stantonbury debut.
James Nicholas - Dame Dotty Trott
James is a Yorkshire-born actor with previous pantomime roles in "Robin Hood", "Cinderella", and "Sleeping Beauty". His recent theatre roles include Scrooge in "A Christmas Carol", Dickens in "The Hanged Man's Bride", Sherlock Holmes in "The Hound of the Baskervilles", Toad in "Wind in the Willows", and the Clown in "The 39 Steps". He also wrote the award-winning play "Can't Stop Carrying On", which completed a national tour following its premiere at the 2023 Edinburgh Fringe. He is excited to make his RARE Panto debut in Milton Keynes.
Kameron Campbell - Daisy
Kameron graduated from Tiffany Theatre College in 2022, specialising in Commercial Dance and Musical Theatre. She performed with Norwegian Cruise Line in "Summer: The Donna Summer Musical". She is delighted to return to RARE Pantomime and spend Christmas at Stantonbury Theatre once again.
James Nicholas - Dame Dotty Trott
The production also features a talented juvenile chorus of local children, each of whom successfully auditioned for their role in September.
