Arthur Ellis launches business support programme in Milton Keynes

A leading MK mental health charity has launched a new Business Support Programme.

Arthur Ellis’ Business Support Programme is designed to help organisations make a meaningful contribution to community wellbeing, while strengthening mental health support for their own employees.

It brings together corporate social responsibility (CSR) and workplace wellbeing, creating a partnership model in which businesses can support vital mental health work in their communities while also gaining access to practical benefits for their workforce.

Through the programme, participating businesses will help fund and support the charity’s work to improve mental health awareness, reduce stigma and increase access to wellbeing support within local communities. Their contribution will help the charity reach people who may otherwise struggle to access information, advice and early support.

In return, participating organisations will gain access to a tiered range of mental health and wellbeing benefits for employees. These include educational resources, awareness initiatives, wellbeing activities and opportunities to engage directly with the charity’s expertise. Businesses will also gain valuable insight into emerging wellbeing needs and the challenges affecting people in their communities and workplaces.

The programme reflects a growing recognition that CSR can deliver value beyond financial contributions. By investing in mental health, businesses can demonstrate their commitment to creating healthier communities while developing a more informed and supportive workplace culture.

"Without the support of the business community, we couldn't do what we do; providing support to thousands of individuals that need it," said Jon Manning, the CEO and Founder of Arthur Ellis, "But - we need to scale to meet demand. Since we started in 2017, demand for our service has increased over 800%.

"We provide emotional support to children, young people and vulnerable adults who are experiencing poor mental health and wellbeing - often under very challenging circumstances.

"This support helps people improve how they feel and how they engage in the world around them. Wellbeing is about being healthy, comfortable and happy; we want to help people achieve that."

For participating businesses, the programme provides an opportunity to demonstrate measurable social value and strengthen their CSR commitments, while helping employees access credible mental health information and support. It can also provide organisations with greater understanding of wellbeing issues, helping them make more informed decisions about workplace support.

The charity is inviting businesses of all sizes to join the programme and become partners in creating healthier, more resilient communities. The Arthur Ellis Mental Health Foundation are here for every mind, everywhere.
