M1 back to normal after emergency crews rush to collision with earlier delays of one hour

Traffic has returned to normal on the M1 in Milton Keynes after emergency services rushed to the scene of a collision earlier.

The collision had happened on the northbound carriageway between Newport Pagnell Services and J15 for Northampton.

Highways England were on the scene along with Northants Fire and Rescue and Northamptonshire Police.

All lanes have now re-opened and traffic has returned to normal.
