More Information (MKFM is not responsible for external websites)
Children will have a full, fun-packed day at the Equestrian Centre – with a range of activities to get them active and making friends. They’ll also be getting very hands-on with our friendly ponies, learning about grooming, feeding and mucking out, as well as enjoying a pony ride and decorating the ponies with chalks and accessories!
This activity is suitable for children who have never ridden (ponies will be led) as well as children who can already ride.
Important Information:
🐴Please report to Reception on arrival.
🐴 We've a strict 12 stone weight limit - please be aware if booking activities for older teens.
🐴Children will need to bring a packed lunch, a snack and a named water bottle with them.
🐴 Parents must leave children for this activity and cannot remain on site.
🐴 Children must wear closed-toe shoes, wellies or boots with a small heel as our stable yard has uneven and muddy surfaces (trainers are not suitable footwear).
🐴 All jewellery and body piercings must be removed when riding and doing any handling or ground work on the yard. Stud earrings with butterflies are acceptable in the ears only.
🐴 Children must wear trousers e.g. leggings, joggers or jodhpurs for comfort when riding. Children wearing shorts or skirts will not be allowed to ride.
🐴 Please bring a waterproof coat and dress for the weather.
🐴 Pre-booking is essential as numbers are limited!
