In 1944, operatic soprano Isobel Bailie performed a short programme of well-known classical songs at Bletchley, followed later that same year by the most important French baritone of the 20th Century, Pierre Bernac, accompanied by the world-famous composer Francis Poulenc.
Join baritone Crispin Lewis, soprano Zoe Jasko, and pianist Helen Shabatei as they take you on a journey into the past and recreate these two iconic concerts for Codebreakers.
The event includes refreshments of tea (or coffee) and scones with cream. 1940s attire welcome!
